The PVSC "Colors" and logoThere
is often a reason why things are named what they are like "Mine
Hill" Rd in Schwenksville or Campus Drive at the HS.
While some things like Campus Drive are pretty obvious, finding
the old copper mine on "Mine Hill" Rd might require a
map.
The same is true with the club colors and
logo.
The "Orange" club color for
PVSC is pretty obvious and doesn't take much explaining.
Black was selected for more practical reasons in that getting
soccer uniforms from major suppliers like Adidas in black is much
easier than brown.
Now the logo, is not so obvious. The logo
has six vertical bars supporting the "Perkiomen Valley Soccer
Club". The bars represent the six major elementary
schools in the school district which support the club.

The stars represent the 7 PVSD schools,
proper. The 4 smaller stars represent the 4 PVSD elementary
schools. The midsize stars moving inward toward the large
star represent PVMS East and West. The large star in the
middle represents the HS.
PVSD would like to thank Sophia Young for
the design of the logo and "Geo" Gray for his
suggestions to give it a professional "Football" look.
