| George
brings a tremendous amount of playing, referring, enthusiasm
and coaching experience to PVSC. George known to his
friends as "Geo" was the facilitator for the
Eastern PA Youth Soccer Assoc. to conduct a recent
USSF "D" coaching course at PV High
School. Geo also completed this coaching course and
has been a USSF
licensed referee since age 14.
Geo started playing at age 4 in "Valley Soccer"
and went on to Captain the Perk Valley HS team in 2001,
Perk Valley's last PAC-10 Championship. He was also a 1st
team "All PAC-10" and "All Area"
selection during HS. During this time he coached numerous
youth teams while playing for numerous premier level teams
and the "Perk Valley Lazers".
Geo is a
graduate of Moravian College where he was a 4 year letter
winner and 3 year starter. He was the Captain of the 2005 team.
Geo was named
to the Mid-Atlantic Conference "All Academic
Team" in 2003, 2004 and 2005 while dual majoring in
Accounting and Computer Science. In 2005, Geo was
awarded the prestigious "Outstanding Academic Male
Athlete of the Year" for Moravian College.
Geo was
instrumental in starting PVSC with a vision to increase
the number of children playing soccer in PV and to develop
an organization for PV which would bring a well defined
structure to allow children to advance from PeeWee on to
the college level.
Geo continues
to play soccer with the PVSC men's team.
