| Will
brings a tremendous amount of playing, referring, enthusiasm
and coaching experience to PVSC. Will recently completed
his USSF "D" coaching license and is a USSF
licensed referee.
Will started playing at age 3 in "Valley Soccer"
and went on to Captain the Perk Valley HS soccer team in 2003,
2004 and 2005. Will was also the PVHS tennis team Captain
in 2006 with a 28-3 record his junior and senior
years. In 2006, Will was awarded Perkiomen Valley's
Robert Huber "Outstanding All-Around Athlete"
and was the winner of the West-Mont United Soccer scholarship.
It was
Will's vision to try and increase the number of
children playing soccer in PV and to develop an
organization for PV which would bring a well defined
structure to allow children to advance from PeeWee on to
the college level.
Will was
one of the "Original" staff members at the
area's premier indoor soccer facility "The Far
Post" which is located in Oaks www.thefarpost.net.
He could often be found training and coaching children
from age 3 through HS as part of the Far Post staff.
Will is
currently a starting Mid-fielder for the Penn State
Altoona Lions and helped his team achieve a regular
session 14-3 record during their 2006 season. He also
plays club ball for the PVSC men's team and FC Premier.
