Suburban Counties Soccer League (SCSL)

Children aged 9 and above have the opportunity to play in the Suburban Counties Soccer League (SCSL), a program that allows them to play in a competitive environment on regulation-sized fields and with a more formalized league structure. SCSL is NOT considered a competitive travel league, but it does offer youth players the opportunity to play other teams from local soccer clubs — most located within 25 minutes of Collegeville.

PVSC currently fields SCSL teams for the U10, U12, U14 and U16 age groups. U10 and U12 teams are gender-specific, while older teams are co-ed . All teams generally have two weekly practices with 8-week seasons. Games are played on Saturdays.

About The Program

Registration is currently $125 for U10 players, $150 for all older age groups , per season.
Fall and Spring seasons.
Competitive or recreational skill level — but NOT a travel program.
Teams divided according to player age.
Co-ed teams above the U12 age group, gender-specific teams for U10 and U12.
Games are played on Saturday (normally earlier than 3PM). Locations alternate between Home and Away locations.
Teams practice 1-2 times per week at local fields, including Palmer Park, Limerick Community Park, Perkiomen Valley Middle School West, and Waterworks Park.
League play against local clubs, such as Boyertown, Pottsgrove, Amity, Coventry, Phoenixville, and others.

Why Play SCSL?

The SCSL program provides a great opportunity for recreational soccer players to gain exposure to different styles of the sport and compete against other area teams and clubs.

While it's not considered a competitive travel league or program, it allows PVSC players to enjoy a travel-like experience without the additional commitment and cost. SCSL teams regularly compete in local tournaments, as well.

2024 Fall Suburban County Soccer (SCSL)

PVSC Fall 2024 Suburban County Soccer League Registration for U10, U12, U14 and U16 age brackets.

U10 and U12 teams will be separated into Boys and Girls Divisions. U14 and up are all coed teams. It is worth noting that even for the younger teams, coed teams are permitted, however they will have to play in the boys division. Teams generally practice once or twice a week with games on Saturdays and the season lasting approximately 8 weeks.

SCSL offer kids the opportunity to play other teams from local soccer clubs, including Boyertown, Coventry, Exeter, Valley Soccer, Phoenixville, Pottsgrove, FC Montco, Amity and West Mont, but is not considered a "Travel Soccer Program". It is a competitive Recreational program.
